Bicycle Lessons

Kyle is starting to get the hang of his bicycle.

Kyle frequently ran off the sidewalk because he would get distracted.

Our first trip to the ER

Kyle got a really bad case of croup that ended with our first trip to the emergency room. He gets croup frequently and I am usually able to help him with his breathing but all of my tricks were not working. After some steroids and a breathing treatment he was good as new.

Thanks to Gran and myself, he is terrified of hospital beds. I guess he thought they were going to give him an iv and all of the fun stuff he saw on us when we were in the hospital. He sat in that chair the entire time and refused to sit on the bed. He was also concerned that he was at the "doctor's office" in his pajamas. I guess he thought his mommy forgot to get him dressed.

Planet Pizza

Kyle won a birthday party at Planet Pizza. We already had his birthday party but we could not turn down a free party so we had another one. We thought it would be a fun opportunity for all of the kids to get together and play. I think the employees thought this was his real birthday party and I was the cheapest mom ever. I am sure they were wondering where the cake, gifts, and all of the party stuff was. Oh well, we still had a lot of fun!

Poor mistreated Kyle did not get a cake at this party. The employee in charge of our party was kind enough to put a candle in his ice cream cup.

4th of July

We went to the Plano 4th of July Parade. Both kids refused to look at me for pictures. This was the best picture I could get of them.

More Presents for Kyle

We decided to get Kyle a bike for his birthday. That was a big decision for his overprotective mommy. He told me tonight that he was going to ride it on the highway! I don't think so!

The new helmet. He would not let me take his picture with his knee and elbow pads on. Too bad I can't get away with putting him in bubble wrap while he is riding his new bike!

His beloved vacuum. He has been begging me for this toy for a couple of months now. It says on the package that it is for a 2 year old! Oh well, he loves it!

Happy 4th Birthday Kyle!
