Kaden is still not walking...

but I think he is getting close. He is almost 15 months old after all. My kids don't seem to get in any hurry to walk. Kyle did not start until he was 18 months old.

He also loves to do this... Kyle is not impressed because he can do that too...

Adventure Week's Family Night

Tonight was the last night of Adventure Week at church. They had several bounce houses, inflatable slides, carnival games and lots of yummy food.

That is Kyle climbing up the slide all by himself! Unlike at his birthday party, Kyle could not wait to go down this slide. I guess it helped that it looked like a fire truck.

Each night before the play starts the kids get to dance and sing.

Kaden loved the music. He was bouncing and laughing the entire time.

Adventure Week

This week is Adventure Week at our church. This is Kyle's first time to participate in a Vacation Bible School. So far he is having a lot of fun!

Poor Kaden had to endure the nursery for a little while each night until Daddy could pick him up. I don't know who is more excited to see Nathan each night, Kaden or the nursery workers!

Bicycle Lessons

Kyle is starting to get the hang of his bicycle.

Kyle frequently ran off the sidewalk because he would get distracted.

Our first trip to the ER

Kyle got a really bad case of croup that ended with our first trip to the emergency room. He gets croup frequently and I am usually able to help him with his breathing but all of my tricks were not working. After some steroids and a breathing treatment he was good as new.

Thanks to Gran and myself, he is terrified of hospital beds. I guess he thought they were going to give him an iv and all of the fun stuff he saw on us when we were in the hospital. He sat in that chair the entire time and refused to sit on the bed. He was also concerned that he was at the "doctor's office" in his pajamas. I guess he thought his mommy forgot to get him dressed.

Planet Pizza

Kyle won a birthday party at Planet Pizza. We already had his birthday party but we could not turn down a free party so we had another one. We thought it would be a fun opportunity for all of the kids to get together and play. I think the employees thought this was his real birthday party and I was the cheapest mom ever. I am sure they were wondering where the cake, gifts, and all of the party stuff was. Oh well, we still had a lot of fun!
